In the heart of the Philippines lies LIMA Technology Center (LIMA), a sprawling 700-hectare economic zone registered under the Philippine Economic Zone Authority (PEZA). This dynamic estate stands as a testament to progress, hosting a community of 50,000 employees and earning distinction as both the largest privately-owned industrial park and the foremost selling point in the country.

LIMA Estate presents a harmonious blend of purposes, encompassing 111 locators, a bustling retail sector with 100 stores and restaurants, a distinguished 138-room 4-star hotel, a strategic transportation hub, and a thriving residential community of over 2,000 households. This versatile space currently thrives as an industrial hub, and visionary minds at AboitizLand foresee its transformation into the region’s premier mixed-use economic center for Calabarzon. This grand evolution will encompass a spectrum of establishments including BPOs, dormitories, hotels, schools, hospitals, and churches, creating a self-sufficient ecosystem.

Integral to LIMA Estate’s success is its robust infrastructure network, fortified through partnerships with affiliates of the Aboitiz Group. This support spans construction, power generation and distribution, as well as water production and distribution. The result is a reliable environment that fosters operational security and streamlined business processes for all locators.

Under the umbrella of LIMA Estate’s comprehensive infrastructure lies the EnerZone Group, a conglomeration of five privately-owned electric distribution utilities strategically positioned in freeport and economic zones. LIMA EnerZone commands a total electricity demand of 41 MW, fortified by a transformational capacity of 150 MVA power substation complemented by a 34.5 kV distribution line. A second 69 kV sub-transmission line, set for completion in Q4 2020, stands as a redundancy measure for LIMA Technology Center, fortifying the estate’s power supply reliability.

AboitizPower, a dominant player in the retail electricity market, contributes significantly to LIMA Estate’s energy landscape. Catering to diverse industries, AboitizPower tailors retail energy products and value-added services to cater to specific customer needs. Expertise extends to energy audits, power quality analysis, and thermal scanning, facilitated by certified technical engineers. Notably, AboitizPower pioneers innovative solutions, enabling customers to upgrade equipment like HVAC systems, UPS, and Battery Energy Storage with zero upfront costs.

LIMA Water Corporation emerges as a critical player in the estate’s self-sufficiency narrative. This entity produces an impressive 7.5 million liters of water daily, equating to 2.76 billion liters annually. Clean, Class AA water is sourced through a deep well system yielding 10,500 cubic meters of potable water per day. The corporation boasts an Environment Compliant Water Treatment facility, armed with Oxidation-type and sequencing batch reactor (SBR) systems, with the capacity to process 26,000 cubic meters of wastewater daily. Remarkably, LIMA Technology Center houses a DENR-accredited laboratory dedicated to rigorous water and wastewater quality monitoring.
