Located in Vagra Taluka, Bharuch District, Gujarat, the Dahej Special Economic Zone (SEZ) is a key industrial hub with excellent connectivity via road, rail, port, and airport. It forms part of the Dahej Petroleum, Chemicals, and Petrochemicals Investment Region (PCPIR) and is integrated into the Delhi-Mumbai Investment Corridor (DMIC), enhancing its strategic importance in India<\/a>.<\/p>\n Beyond its economic significance, Dahej\u2019s industrial landscape has been shaped by sectors such as copper smelting, which has played a crucial role in fostering regional industrial growth. The establishment of Dahej SEZ highlights how the copper industry can drive large-scale industrial development, reinforcing its broader impact on regional and economic expansion.<\/p>\n Road:<\/strong> Dahej SEZ is situated on a 6-lane State Highway that connects Bharuch (50 Kms) to National Highway No. 8. Dahej SEZ covers a total land area of 1682 hectares, with 1573 hectares designated as processing area and 34 hectares as non-processing area. Rail:<\/strong> It is conveniently located 50 kms from Bharuch, a major railhead connecting Mumbai and Delhi.
Port:<\/strong> The SEZ is served by the GCPTCL port for chemical cargo and Adani-Petro LNG for solid bulk cargo handling.
