Madaba Industrial Estate, established in 2016, is a burgeoning industrial complex designed to catalyze economic growth. Envisioned to accommodate various industries, this project has already completed its first phase, encompassing 310,000 square meters of the total 500,000 square meters of the estate’s expanse.

Designed to nurture diverse industries, Madaba Industrial Estate offers both developed industrial land and ready-made buildings spanning 17,000 square meters, complete with robust industrial infrastructure. The Board of Directors has ratified a set of incentives, including reductions in sales prices and rentals for standard and developed factory buildings, making it an attractive proposition for potential investors.

Targeting technical, pharmaceutical, and light medical industries, Madaba Industrial Estate aligns with Jordan’s economic diversification goals. By attracting investments in these sectors, the estate contributes to creating a resilient and innovative industrial ecosystem.

In 2019, His Majesty King Abdullah personally inspected the estate’s progress, underlining its significance for national development. The king’s directive to expedite infrastructure work underscores the project’s importance in bolstering Jordan’s industrial landscape.

Recent industrial investments announced during Jordanian Industry Day exemplify the nation’s industrial momentum. Valued at $850 million, these ventures are poised to generate 3,650 job opportunities. The projects are projected to yield approximately $1.2 billion in exports, while also reducing the costs associated with imports. Spread across various regions including Muwaqqar, Aqaba, Mushata Industrial Zone, Karak, Al Qastal Industrial Estate, and Irbid, these investments underscore the wide-reaching impact of industrial development.

Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Global (TAG.Global) has resumed construction on the Talal Abu-Ghazaleh for Technologies (TAGTech) factory at Madaba Industrial Estate, following a brief pause due to the pandemic. As part of a constructive agreement with Jordan Industrial Estates Co. (JIEC), TAGTech’s commitment to technological advancement, championed by HE Dr. Talal Abu-Ghazaleh, aligns with Jordan’s national goals. This factory, poised to become a regional technological beacon, will produce pioneering technical products, heralding a new era of economic and local development.

The choice of Madaba Industrial Estate as the site for this factory reflects a careful collaboration with Jordanian authorities. The Ministry of Industry, Trade & Supply and JIEC have provided unwavering support, enabling the project to thrive even in challenging circumstances. Dr. Abu-Ghazaleh extends his appreciation to HE Minister of Industry, Trade & Supply Dr. Tareq Al-Hamouri for his commitment and facilitation, navigating the exceptional conditions.
