Abdullah II Ibn Al-Hussein Industrial Estate is just 12 km from Amman, the capital of Jordan. Mostly small and medium scale industries operate in the zone which contains around 16,000 workers. It is the second in terms of exports behind Al Hassan Industrial Estate.

Largest estate in the country

At 253 hectares the estate is the largest in Jordan.

It is known as a Qualifying industrial zone (QIZ) which is a business park that is recognised as a free trade zones in collaboration with Israel and the United States. Jordan is one of two countries to have this arrangement, the other being Egypt.

Investment in Abdullah II Ibn Al-Hussein Industrial Estate

According to 2019 statistics, the King Abdullah II Ibn Al-Hussein Industrial City in Sahab, east of the capital, has attracted over 405 Arab and international industrial companies. Boasting a collective investment value of JD1.39 billion dinars and over $600 million in exports.

The industrial estate founded in the 1980s, is the oldest and largest industrial city in the Kingdom.

The estate is home to 20,000 square meters of prefabricated buildings, costing JD2.6 million dinars. Built to carry out the company’s vision for expansion.

The industrial city has provided over 13,000 jobs to residents of eastern southeastern Amman.
