Anggerek Desa Technology Park is just 3 kilometres from the airport in Brunei. The park focuses on light and tech based industry.

DARe is the state body that manages industrial parks in Brunei and operates the Business Support Centre (BSC), which started operations in April 2016 and aims to help facilitate SME operations and attract FDI. Located in the Anggerek Desa Technology Park, BSC will act as a single portal for businesses to access and submit applications for licences, permits and registrations, as well as paying taxes and applying for industrial land permits

iCentre at Anggerek Desa Technology Park

Anggerek Desa Technology Park is also home to the iCentre, which runs an incubation programme for technology and innovation-based start-ups. The park is also the location for the Knowledge Hub, a centre for facilitation and promotion of research and development activities, along with the digital Design and Technology Building, which offers space for company offices, conferences, exhibitions and meetings.

Tenants include world renowned companies such as Autodesk, SideFX and Beijing Sesame World Technologies Ltd. The new building houses various facilities, such as an auditorium, mini theatre/studio, teleconference rooms, meetings rooms, and training rooms as well as a cafeteria.

The iCentre Incubation Programme represents a year-long initiative developed in partnership with DARe, providing a nurturing environment for both established and aspiring entrepreneurs. It offers participants access to a wealth of resources, including capacity-building programs and the potential for growth and investment opportunities.

Within the iCentre Incubation Programme, there are two distinct paths available:

Physical Incubation: This option caters to both budding and established startups seeking dedicated office space within the iCentre Incubation Programme.

Virtual Incubation: Geared toward startups already operating from their own offices, the virtual incubation track allows them to become a part of the iCentre Incubation Programme without the need to relocate their physical workspace.
