The North Coast Wafer Fab Park, among Singapore’s four strategically planned wafer fabrication facilities, aims to offer cutting-edge infrastructure tailored to the needs of semiconductor companies. These advancements, including vibration-sensitive flooring, are designed to meet the stringent requirements of the semiconductor industry.

Semiconductor and Electronics Ecosystem at North Coast Wafer Fab Park

Spread across North Coast, Woodlands, Tampines, and Pasir Ris, these wafer fab parks host Singapore’s semiconductor and electronics industries, accommodating over 18,600 professionals from industry leaders such as Micron Technology, MediaTek, and Infineon Technologies.

Over the next five years, progressive enhancements are scheduled to transform these parks into a more dynamic and attractive workspace, aligning with the sector’s growth. JTC, with a mission to develop industrial infrastructure supporting new industries in Singapore, is at the forefront of this initiative.

Flexible Industrial Space at North Coast Wafer Fab Park

1 North Coast, situated in the upcoming Woodlands North Coast (WNC) precinct, is a nine-storey light industrial building offering unique flexible space utilization. It enables businesses to seamlessly integrate non-industrial functions and manufacturing operations within the same facility.

Designed for maximum integration, 1 North Coast features shared basement facilities, including a car park with loading and unloading bays, minimizing ground-level traffic. Proximity to Republic Polytechnic encourages collaboration with academic minds, fostering innovation. The precinct also provides a vibrant campus-like environment, complete with dining options and a convenience store.

Strategic Connectivity

Strategically located, 1 North Coast offers enhanced local and regional connectivity. Just a five-minute drive to Seletar Expressway (SLE) and in close proximity to Woodlands North MRT station, it ensures convenient accessibility. The upcoming RTS Link and Johor-Singapore Causeway will further bolster cross-border business interactions, emphasizing the park’s strategic position.

The comprehensive revitalization of JTC’s wafer fabrication parks, starting with sheltered walkways spanning around 5.3km, signifies a forward-looking approach to infrastructure development in support of Singapore’s evolving semiconductor landscape.
