The Songkhla Deep-Sea Port stands as a key maritime facility, capable of handling vessels with a maximum draft at three berths, totaling 510m in length. With a modern infrastructure and well-trained personnel adept in inter-modal container traffic systems, the port accommodates large ocean-going cargo vessels efficiently. Spread across 90,000sqm, the port’s quay, measuring 510m in length with a 30m wide apron, ensures seamless operations. The strategic access points through Highway 408 and Highway 407, coupled with a well-dredged channel, enable vessels to navigate with ease.

In terms of cargo handling, Songkhla Port sees a significant volume of imports, including general cargo, containers, fertilizer, frozen fish, and building materials. On the export front, the port facilitates the shipment of rubber, rubber gloves, rubberwood, general cargo, containers, latex, and frozen food. Annually, the port handles approximately 1,800,000 tons of cargo and 140,000 TEU. With carriers like RCL, Maersk, and Samudera servicing Songkhla, the port maintains vital connections, ensuring a steady flow of goods in and out of Southern Thailand.
