Increased Cargo Operations at Tan Son Nhat International Airport

Several airlines, including China Southern Airlines, Air China, Korean Air Cargo, Etihad Airways Cargo, and China Airlines Cargo, increased cargo flights, sustaining economic activities at the airport. VIAGS Tan Son Nhat commits to providing professional services for various cargo aircraft types.

Development of Terminal 3 for Future Growth

To address congestion and accommodate growing passenger demand, the Airports Corporation of Vietnam is developing Terminal 3 at Tan Son Nhat. With an investment of VND10.99t ($466m), it is expected to handle 20 million passengers annually from the second quarter of 2025.

The existing terminals faced overcrowding, affecting tourism in Ho Chi Minh City. With the anticipated 14.5% annual passenger growth rate, Terminal 3 aims to alleviate congestion and contribute to the region’s economic development.
