PowerPac Economic Zone Mongla

Mongla Economic Zone spans 205 acres near Mongla Sea Port and Mongla EPZ in Bagerhat district. Sikder Group’s associate, Power Pac Economic Zone Private Limited, was appointed as the developer on December 01, 2015. The economic zone is set to generate employment opportunities for approximately 25,000 individuals.

With a total investment of Tk 50 crore by BEZA, infrastructure projects, including roads, bridges, water supply lines, power sub-station, and administrative buildings, have been completed. The developer has initiated construction activities for connecting roads, water, and power supply lines within the zone.

Situated on the river Mongla, Mongla Economic Zone is adjacent to Mongla Sea Port, the second-largest sea port in Bangladesh. The zone’s location offers proximity to important transportation links, making it ideal for various industries, including apparel/RMG, jute, food processing, and shipyards.

Investment Opportunities at PowerPac Economic Zone Mongla

Mongla Economic Zone, fully developed for factory setups, has attracted interest from both local and foreign investors. Infrastructure development activities, amounting to over Tk 300 crore, are underway. PowerPac Holdings Ltd, a Sikder Group concern, has signed an MoU with Tiger Logistics (India) Ltd to establish a joint venture in the logistics sector for global trade. This partnership aims to create an international freight forwarding and logistics business.
