Java Integrated Industrial & Port Estate, is the pioneering integrated area in Indonesia. It spans across 3,000 hectares and comprises industrial estates, multifunctional public ports, and residential cities. Strategically situated in Gresik, East Java province, JIIPE stands as a crucial pilot project for industrial development in the country.
Covering a vast expanse of 1,761 hectares, the JIIPE industrial area incorporates a well-equipped sea port facility that spans 400 hectares. Additionally, the concept of an independent city is integrated into 800 hectares of the project’s occupancy. This ambitious undertaking is a collaborative effort between the government and private sector. Pelabuhan Indonesia III (Pelindo III) spearheads the initiative through its subsidiary, PT Berlian Jasa Terminal Indonesia (BJTI Port). This is in partnership with PT Aneka Kimia Raya Corporindo Tbk (AKR Corp) through its subsidiary, PT Usaha Era Pratama Nusantara.
One of the remarkable features of Java Integrated Industrial & Port Estate is its port, recognized as the deepest in East Java. It has a depth of -16 LWS (Lowest Water Spring). The port boasts four multifunction piers, equipped with an extensive berth spanning 6,200 meters. This infrastructure is tailored to handle large vessels, with capacities exceeding 100,000 Deadweight Tons (DWT). The port’s capabilities are expected to efficiently accommodate international and domestic shipping requirements.

Accessibility is a key aspect of JIIPE’s design. To ensure seamless connectivity, the project integrates sea, toll, and train transportation options. Facilitating swift movement of goods and people both regionally and globally. This strategic multi-modal approach ensures a robust supply chain network and enhances JIIPE’s appeal as a preferred destination for industries and businesses.
