Jeddah Islamic Port enjoys a unique location on the Red Sea coast, in the middle of the international shipping route between east and west. It is the largest port in terms of volume and cargo handling capacity, as it handles more than 65% of all cargo imported through Saudi ports. Jeddah Islamic Port covers today an area of 12.5 square kilometers, the port is also equipped with more than 1,752 new cargo handling equipment.
