Expanding Facilities and Services
Kariangau Ferry Port, located in East Kalimantan, has encountered challenges related to the orderly entry and exit of people and vehicles within the port territory. This disorder is attributed to the absence of clear zoning, signage, and road markings, in accordance with the Regulation of the Minister of Transportation Number 29 of 2016 on Sterilization Harbor. To address these issues and streamline traffic flow, there are ongoing initiatives to implement a zoning system aligned with the mentioned regulation. The addition of amenities, such as signs, weigh bridges, and road markers, is planned to enhance the efficiency and regularity of the port operations.
