Kota Kinabalu Industrial Park (KKIP) is a state government project that has been designated as the nucleus of growth for the state. Its purpose is to facilitate both economic development as well as the optimum utilisation of the state’s natural resources.
Occupying an area of 8,320 acres, the park falls within the Knowledge Corridor of Sabah, where the highly advanced Universiti Malaysia Sabah (UMS), Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM) and a host of training and research institutions are located. Kota Kinabalu Industrial Park is conceived and designed to be a modern integrated mixed developments that offers a comprehensive mix of investment, education, commerce, leisure and residential opportunities. With a masterplan that is firmly grounded on environmentally sustainable development principles, and ISO 9001-2008 certification, KKIP provides not only solid investment opportunities; it also offers an idyllic living and working environment. Established in 1994 , K.K.I.P. Sdn. Bhd. is a wholly-owned company of the Sabah State Government, through the Chief Minister (Incorporation) Ordinance. It is a State government agency under the direct purview of State Ministry of Industrial Development.
Kota Kinabalu Industrial Park (KKIP) was approved in 1993 as an integrated park. We aim to develop KKIP with sustainable social and economic developments that will significantly contribute to the progress of Sabah.
