PT. Krakatau Industrial Estate Cilegon (KIEC) is a subsidiary company of PT. Krakatau Steel, established in 1982, with a mission to develop an industrial estate in Cilegon. KIEC manages a 550-hectare wide-industrial estate in Cilegon, Banten Province, with another 75 hectares and 500 hectares near the first location. The estate is already in use by more than 70 national and multinational companies, and it aims to become the central location for upstream and downstream steel, chemical and petrochemical industries.
