Mongla Economic Zone spans 205 acres near Mongla Sea Port and Mongla EPZ in Bagerhat district. Sikder Group’s associate, Power Pac Economic Zone Private Limited, was appointed as the developer on December 01, 2015. The economic zone is set to generate employment opportunities for approximately 25,000 individuals.
With a total investment of Tk 50 crore by BEZA, infrastructure projects, including roads, bridges, water supply lines, power sub-station, and administrative buildings, have been completed. The developer has initiated construction activities for connecting roads, water, and power supply lines within the zone.
