Seletar Aerospace Park, spanning over 320 hectares of purpose-built land and infrastructure, is a testament to Singapore’s ambition to become a global aviation hub. With 160 hectares dedicated to the aerospace industry and the remaining 160 hectares occupied by the Seletar Airport, this thriving hub is home to a vibrant aerospace industry cluster comprising over 60 Multi-National Companies (MNCs) and local aerospace enterprises. The park also boasts a community of 6,000 professionals engaged in various aerospace business activities.

Range of Space Solutions at Seletar Aerospace Park

The aerospace park offers a spectrum of space solutions to cater to the needs of MNCs, SMEs, and start-ups at different stages of growth. JTC aeroSpace provides “plug-and-play” land-based modular spaces, enabling companies to set up their operations quickly and efficiently. And the multi-tenanted JTC Aviation One and Two provide small and medium spaces for SMEs.

Immerse yourself in Singapore’s colonial past with a visit to Seletar Aerospace Park. Originally developed in 1923 by the British as a Royal Air Force (RAF) station, this area served Singapore until 1971. The park features numerous black and white bungalows, built with the assistance of Samsui women, female Chinese immigrants who took on construction jobs. These women, known as “Concrete Lizzies” by the British, played a crucial role in housing RAF personnel and their families.

Seletar Aerospace Park is home to several notable aerospace companies, including Airbus, Bell Textron, Bombardier, Fokker Services, GE Aviation, Jet Aviation, Meggitt, Moog, PPG, Pratt & Whitney, Rolls-Royce, Safran, and ST Engineering. These industry leaders contribute to the park’s reputation as a hub for nose-to-tail aerospace services.

Building a Greener Future

Environmental sustainability is a top priority for the Seletar Aerospace Park community. JTC, in collaboration with the National Parks Board (NParks), the Garden City Fund (GCF), and the Association of Aerospace Industries (Singapore), has spearheaded Singapore’s first community greening program for an industrial estate. Initiatives aimed at reducing carbon footprints include the installation of solar panels, generating over 17,000,000 kWh of clean energy annually, enough to power more than 3,500 households.

According to the 2023 Singapore Aerospace Industry Solar Adoption Report, the aerospace industry has reached a total installed capacity of 42.3MWp in 2023, equivalent to powering over 10,000 homes. Solar energy accounts for more than one-third of the power consumed by aerospace companies, contributing to a greener and more sustainable future.

Convenient Connectivity at Seletar Aerospace Park

Seletar Aerospace Park offers excellent connectivity, with a 20-minute commute to and from the city and a 30-minute journey to and from Changi International Airport. The park is conveniently located next to three expressways: Tampines Expressway (TPE), Seletar Expressway (SLE), and Central Expressway (CTE). Bus services, including 39, 86, 102, 103, 117, 168, and 858, are available, along with a peak hour shuttle bus service.

In 2019, JTC and the Association of Aerospace Industries Singapore (AAIS) announced the provision of indoor testbeds within Seletar Aerospace Park for commercial applications of unmanned aircraft systems (UAS), commonly known as drones. These indoor spaces, housed within JTC’s high-rise developments, offer a safe and controlled environment for companies to conduct development trials and customer demonstrations.

Seletar Aerospace Park stands as a testament to Singapore’s commitment to developing a world-class aerospace hub, offering cutting-edge facilities, a vibrant community, and sustainable practices.
