Tabuk Industrial City is on an approximate area of four million square meters with nearly three million already developed. The city of Tabuk has a population of around 600,000 as is also host to the largest air force base in the country.
The city is noted also for its proximity to the Jordanian border, about 296 km and the port of Duba 210 km away. A proposed revival of the old Hejaz railway linking Median in the south up to Damascus in Syria via Tabuk has been mooted which would help spur development in the province.
