We are realizing on the self is the part of carbon neutrality world’s mission by 2050. We care for green energy as a clean, green, renewable source of energy. The renewable energy, Solar Rooftop and Floating Solar Projects, have been launched in our Gateway City Industrial Estate.

ON-SITE NATURAL GAS @ Gateway City Industrial Estate

Aiming to provide alternative choice of energy to customers in Gateway City Industrial Estate, PTT group operates an on-site natural gas station via pipe-line distribution system with reliable service standard, competitive cost and high safety level.

Solid Waste Disposal

Garbage trucks collect solid waste daily from each factory to be disposed of by incinerators with a capacity of 40 tons / day / unit. The incinerators keep the air clean, free of smoke or smell to provide for a clean environment. Any solid waste that cannot be disposed of by the incinerator will be further handled by the 80 rai of the sanitary land fill.

Power Supply

Gateway City has developed 115 KV high-voltage transmission lines with dual circuit system from the Bangpakong Power Plant and Prachinburi Power Plant and built a on site power substation at Gateway City with a current load capacity of 150 MVA, which will be further increased to 250 MVA. Customers receive an average electricity supply of 40 KVA per rai.

Water Supply @ Gateway City Industrial Estate

One of Gateway City’s important advantages is its superior and reliable water supply system which includes two reservoirs with combined storage capacity of over 7.5 million cubic meters, and a world standard water treatment plant. These facilities will continue to be expanded over time to ensure that Gateway City continues to offer among the highest quality and most reliable year-round water supplies in Thailand. Gateway City customers receive an average treated water supply of average treated water supply of 7 cu.m./ rai / day.

Wide and Smooth Roadways

A network of main, secondary and access roads serves every zone in Gateway City, ensuring smooth and efficient transport of people and goods. The main road is 50 meters wide and includes six lanes. Secondary roads are 39 meters wide with four lanes. Access road’s width is 33 meters. Due to strong soil foundation, all roads are constructed with concrete.

Effective Drainage and Flood Protection

Flooding is never a concern as the level of the estate is about 30-50 meters above sea level and the site has excellent natural drainage. A concrete open ditch system in desired to accommodate even peak rain conditions.

With a loading bearing capacity of approximately 30 tons per square meter. This is unusual in Thailand where the soft land conditions generally require extensive foundation work. Gateway City’s heavy capacity permits the construction of factories without the need for any piling which can reduce total construction costs by as much as 30% compared to most other locations in Thailand.
