Ras Bufontas Free Zone

Ras Bufontas Free Zone covers four square kilometres and is directly adjacent to Hamad International Airport. The first line of the Doha Metro, which opened in May 2019, provides direct access to Ras Bufontas.

This project began in 2019 and will focus on logistics and advanced technologies. The economic zone will specialize in companies in the communications, infotech, energy, logistics, construction, transportation and other sectors. These are specific sections of the zone dedicated to particular industries, allowing for optimal cluster growth and perfectly tailored infrastructure and facilities.

The project will be developed in 3 phases. The headquarters of the Qatar Free Zones Authority (QFZA) which administer the free zones in the country, will have their iconic headquarters located at Ras Bufontas.
